Dads Connects 

 

Program/Meeting Description:

A safe place where dads and their children can come to connect, learn, share ideas, and provide guidance to allow them to lead and love their family the best way possible. With this initiative we also hope to promote family engagement and strengthen relationships between schools and families. 

 

Benefits of Father/Child Engagement: 

Fathers who are actively involved in their children’s lives contribute to their emotional health, overall wellness, social development and self-respect, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Dedicated and responsible fathering during infancy and early childhood also contributes to emotional security, and improved math and verbal skills.
